Lichen Grows Fast!
In 2022, we captured this photo of a roof where the roof treatment did not go ahead. Upon revisiting the roof two years later, we observed a rapid deterioration in it’s condition, and further degrading of the roof paintwork.
Terracotta Roofs
Lichen and Algae love to cling onto the traditional rich texture of the terracotta roofs. Many old roofs may have both lichen and black mould deeply ingrained into the tiles. Our treatment service is effective in removing all the lichen growth from these roofs, but the black mould which some, have been developing over the last century will take longer to see a visible difference.
